Employer Branding Video

Luminis is a Dutch IT company that helps organizations innovate with cloud, data, and software solutions. They work for companies such as VanDijk, Huuskes, and de Belastingdienst, combining craftsmanship and innovation. Through blogs, events, and video content, Luminis strengthens its position as a thought leader and an attractive employer in the Dutch IT sector.

Client

Besides their desire to be thought leaders in the Dutch IT sector, Luminis also aspires to build an attractive employer brand. To support Luminis’ employer branding efforts, this video project was put together to showcase how one of their software teams collaborates and innovates with a client. My role was to produce, film and edit this video, with a focus on the value of teamwork and how meaningful connections between Luminis developers and the client teams elevate the collaboration between the two.

The video centers around a Luminis developer who shares her personal experience as a UX designer, explaining how being part of a team with Luminis and client colleagues adds value to both the project and her own role in the team. The story emphasizes authenticity and the human side of technical collaboration

Snippets of the video were later repurposed for a recruitment campaign on Reddit, launched in Q3 of 2025, aimed at attracting new software talent for Luminis’ recruitment purposes.

Project

The Reddit campaign generated strong visibility and engagement among the target audience:

  • 300,321 impressions

  • 512 clicks

  • CTR: 0.173%

The video supported Luminis’ employer branding strategy by highlighting their collaborative culture and people-based approach to software development. The video was a valuable tool for both marketing and recruitment purposes.
